Bio

If you’re looking for a skilled writer for your business or publication, email me now. I’m an award-winning freelance writer and marketing professional who spent fifteen years in technology marketing after stints as a magazine editor and reporter.

I’ve been nominated for a Puschcart Prize, been awarded fellowships from Writers@Work and UC-Davis, and have written for publications as varied as daily newspapers, medical publications, magazines and journals such as River TeethForbesFourth Genre, American Lifeguard, and Vision, and U.S. State Department books.

I’m an associate editor for the creative nonfiction journal River Teeth, have edited and ghostwritten books and articles, and even wrote the screens and help files for the world’s first in-store digital print shop.

Currently I write and handle marketing projects for technology, consumer electronics, and business-to-business companies. My clients are as small as startups and as large as the largest market-cap corporation in the world.

I hold a bachelor’s in journalism and a master’s in creative nonfiction, teach writing online, and am finishing a journalistic memoir about growing up on a family farm during the rise of corporate farming.
